Columbine Design & Flowers has designed its shop in the tradition of the 16th to the 18th century European craze which the French titled Cabinets de Curiosities. This tiny shop in the upper regions of the secretive part of Grant Avenue exudes the sense of those past centuries craze for the odd, unusual and sometimes beautiful objects. Also offering fresh and dried flowers, Columbine Design features unusual mounted insects, Mexican religious crosses, stuffed birds and other taxidermy, mirror & picture frames created with dried flowers, bugs frozen in plastic key chains, ostrich eggs, geodes, Egyptian scarabs and any other objects found to be exceptional enough for display and sale. The whole shop fulfills itself as a perfect example of a 16th century Epoca cabinet. They also supply floral designs for events.
