History: Jean Claude Moloux was born in France, in Paris' Latin Quarter. He was the godchild of French painter Raoul Dufy. When he was growing up he spent many hours in Dufy's studio, absorbing the atmosphere of canvas and the smell of oil paint.

In Jean Claude's middle years, he rediscovered this world within himself, and began to paint in his own primitive, naive style. His paintings reflect his youth in France; a parade of sailboats on the Riviera, flowers. His colors are a vibrant pallet of rich Fauvist style, evoking the qualities of the Paris salon exhibition's of the early twentieth century.

Jean Claude Moloux is a International Member of Gallery SF. His current studio is in Philadelphia, PA.
