Savoy Tivoli (North
Beach)
Open
since 1907, the Savoy Tivoli is a
character dive bar right in the
heart of North Beach. Located on
"upper" Grant Avenue,
in the Italian neighborhood, it
faces a narrow street of boutique
shops, bars with live rock &
roll and a few select, small
eateries. This place has seen the
history of the city walk through
its doors. Atmospheric, with
outside seating, it is a favorite
with a younger crowd who come to
watch each other, play pool and
drink beer. A favorite with
locals. Best on Friday &
Saturday nights when there is the
most action. It does get crowded.
