This is one of the best sushi/sashimi restaurants in San Francisco. Though quite small in room size, the atmosphere is charmingly esthetic, with jazz playing in the background. The proprietor and chef, Katsu, has been running his own restaurants in the city for nearly three decades, and his training is traditional. He understands how to prepare the delicately flavored sauces that compliment beautifully designed sushi. Also recommended is the Teriaki beef or chicken. This is a comfortable place for couples. Right in between North Beach and Fisherman's Wharf. Walk straight down (L) Columbus towards the wharf.
