Top of the Mark is the most romantic cocktail
lounge in San Francisco. Legendary since its opening in
1939, It sits atop the Mark Hopkins Hotel
on Nob Hill. Always elegant, it has been a favorite with
famous (& infamous), 
rich
and beautiful people from all over the world who love
this attractive aerie with its breathtaking 360 degree
views of San Francisco and beyond. Their ambiance sports
an elegant club-like decor, with stunning night lights
and day views of the San Francisco skyline. This is the
place to be on Valentines Day, or any day for romance.
Even if you choose another San Francisco restaurant to
dine in, this is where you go for after dinner cocktails.
Dress code applies. Over 21 only after 8 PM. Valet
parking is available at the front door of the hotel. It
is a convenient circular drive-in off California Street.
Live jazz played from 8:30 PM, seven nights a week. Sunday brunch is served with old-world elegance. This may also be the loveliest brunch location in the City.
Entertainment program includes a
variety of musical styles for listening and dancing.
Live
music begins at 8:30 PM, Sunday through Thursday ($5.00
entertainment charge per person), and 9:00 PM on Friday
and Saturday ($10.00 entertainment charge per person). No
reservations for cocktails and light dining. Dress code
enforced after 8:00 PM - no shorts, sweats, jeans, tennis
shoes or sandals please (dressy jeans with jacket and
dress shoes are OK). No guests under the age of 21
admitted after 8:00 PM.
